If you live in the Chicago area, please check out White Attic for me. I'm drooling over all of their refurbished and refinished pieces. Not to mention the lamps and artwork. They have a lamp bar where you can pick out a base, base color, shade shape, shade fabric...pretty much lamp heaven if you will.
